In 2014, I joined the New Quilt Bloggers blog hop hosted by Beth from plum and june. During the hop, I met Michelle Bartholomew. I was drawn to her style and aesthetic, and I was fascinated by her beautiful photography. It has been my pleasure to work with and get to know Michelle better when she asked me to participate in her idea, Quilt Theory.
Yesterday, Michelle released her monthly Half-Square Headlines newsletter, and I am honored that she interviewed me. If you are not a subscriber, you can read the interview here: Half-Square Headlines January 2018. (Psssssst: there is a Quilter’s Planner giveaway as part of the newsletter.)
If you enjoy the newsletter, you can sign up for Half-Square Headlines.

Great interview Yvonne! I liked your ‘how do I’ advice and use it often.
I opened up my Half-Square Headlines yesterday morning, and there you were! I was so excited! 🙂
I subscribe to her newsletter and it was super fun to read your interview! 🙂
It was a wonderful interview Yvonne! I knew you would pick blue for your color…are you predictable now?! Kidding! I enjoyed reading the newsletter!
It was a very interesting interview, Yvonne. I have subscribed to the newsletter and am looking forward to it! I, too, love the color blue — it is my go to color when I need calm in my life (seem to need calm more and more often of late!).
Really great interview, and congrats on being on the 2018 Aurifil Design Team!!
Good interview! I think between Google and Youtube, there is an answer to just about every question out there. I love your quilts in this collage, especially the black and white one. I had to look two or three times at the blue and purple ones to see if it was my double vision or an optical illusion. Very cool.
Nice Interview, I follow your blog and today I learned more about you than I previously knew. Thanks for the Half Square Triangle newsletter mention. I had a grand time roaming between links, articles, challenges and what not. Good indoor fun on a Minnesota subzero afternoon.
Great interview. I always love reading about how quilting has changed your life!
Super interview, and what a fantastic give-away, I am sure this will be so happily received.
Ocean… 🙂 Good interview, and LOL on the glue stick (I’m there with ya)…
Congratulations! I enjoyed reading the interview–thanks for letting us know you hit print.
