Effervescence Quilt Along (2024-2025)

Create a 56″ x 72″ lap quilt that looks improvisationally pieced but uses traditional piecing methods!

Effervescence requires 15 fabrics, and the sample quilt was pieced using luscious Banyan Batiks provided by Northcott Fabrics.

The Effervescence quilt pattern will be released in sections as the quilt along progresses, so when you purchase the pattern, you will NOT receive the whole pattern right way and you will be giving me permission to add you to my quilt along email list. The quilt along schedule is very relaxed and is meant to acknowledge that things often pop up unexpectedly. The schedule allows plenty of time to account for the holidays and for any catch up that may need to happen along the way.

Q: What is the complexity level?
A: The Effervescence quilt along is written at a confident beginner level. There will be no improv, curves, paper piecing, appliqué, or advanced sewing techniques (such as Y seams).

Q: What will I receive when I sign up for the Effervescence quilt along and on each of the quilt along dates?
A: By purchasing the Effervescence quilt along, you are agreeing to be added to my special quilt along only email list. The Effervescence quilt pattern will be released in sections as the quilt along progresses, so when you purchase the pattern, you will NOT receive the whole pattern right way and you will be giving me permission to add you to my quilt along email list. When you sign up for the Effervescence quilt along, you will immediately receive access to the Effervescence Quilt Along Introduction PDF.

On December 1st, you will receive an email from newsletter@quiltingjetgirl.com with the fabric requirements. Included in the Fabric requirements PDF are coloring pages of all the colorway and size options and of course the fabric requirements themselves.

Then, beginning on January 6th and repeating every 2 weeks through the beginning of July, you will receive the next portion of the pattern via an email from newsletter@quiltingjetgirl.com. On July 7th, the final Effervescence Quilt Along PDF will be a bit longer and will include quilt assembly, bonus quilt assembly, and finishing instructions.

In addition, the email with the link for each new PDF segment of the pattern will include my top tips, tricks, links to the previous PDF segments (in case you missed them), and links to content to help you confidently make your version of the Effervescence quilt.

Q: Where can I share my progress and ask questions during the quilt along?
A: You can share progress photos via Instagram: be sure use the official quilt along hashtag #EffervescenceQuiltAlong, tag me @QuiltingJetgirl, and follow the #EffervescenceQuiltAlong hashtag so you can keep up with everyone who is participating.
