Transparency quilts play with the subtleties of fabric values to create layered, transparent effects. The Triangle Transparency quilt pattern studies transparency using an overlay of triangular shapes. Block construction is achieved using Half Square Triangles (HSTs) and strip piecing to quickly create a 60″ by 60″ lap quilt.

The pattern is suitable for beginners after having established the ability to sew a consistent seam allowance. The pattern also has a lot of ideas and help with fabric selection, which is the key to pulling off the layered depth look of the pattern.
