::: Pattern Description :::
Perspective is an exploration of an off-grid, modern quilt design that uses transparency to create depth in overlapping shapes. There are planning tools within the pattern to help you track your fabric selections (or details for you to re-create the fabric selections of the cover quilt).
Note that there are a lot of different fabrics and pieces in this pattern and the key to successfully making the pattern is in keeping all of the fabrics and pieces organized throughout the construction of the quilt. The piecing itself is not hard but it does require attention; I needed to pull out my seam ripper on multiple occasions because I didn’t follow my own construction plan when I made the cover quilt.
Therefore, included in the pattern are a few tips for fabric piece organization as well as a coloring page to help you plan your quilt design and perhaps even audition quilting motifs. There is ample room to play with some fun quilting in the negative space. Straight line quilting to enhance and echo the pieced shapes would work beautifully, too.
::: Sizing / Finished Measurements :::
The pattern has instructions to create the quilt in three sizes: baby (42″ x 52″), lap (63″ x 78″), and queen (84″ x 104″).
::: Materials :::
See image of back cover for materials list in all quilt sizes.
