The Mod Star Tree design was inspired by a desire to create a modern holiday quilt, but with a heavy nod to tradition: the result is a whimsical tree made of traditional star blocks in a large, graphic layout. The blocks can be pieced using fabric in your stash or a grouping of specially curated fat quarters.

Assorted Green Fabrics: (8) Fat Quarters or (8) 1/4 yard cuts
Assorted Red Fabrics: (8) Fat Quarters or (8) 1/4 yard cuts
3 Assorted Yellow Fabrics: (3) Fat Quarters or (3) 1/4 yard cuts
Background Fabric: 4 1/4 yards
Backing Fabric: 5 yards
Binding Fabric: 5/8 yard
