Thank you so much for bearing with me this week as I reviewed and processed my QuiltCon experience. If you missed any of my QuiltCon 2015 summary posts, they are broken down to cover:

Another aspect of QuiltCon are all the learning and hands-on opportunities available through lectures and workshops. I took lots of notes, and I thought I would pass on what I learned in the lectures and write a review of the workshop I attended.
Lecture: "Publishing Your Work: Panel Discussion"
The first lecture that I attended at QuiltCon was a panel discussion moderated...
If you were following my Instagram feed, then you already saw a selection of quilts that were in the quilt show. Today, I want to highlight a few more quilts that really caught my eye. One of the benefits of being able to blog about the quilts after the fact is that it gives me time to research the...
The biggest reason I was excited to attend QuiltCon was to meet online friends in real life. I attended QuiltCon in 2013, but I was not a blogger at the time. It was an excellent experience, and you can check out my post about QuiltCon 2013. Now that I have been blogging and building relationships with quilters around the...
I am so happy to be home. QuiltCon was a lot of things: amazing, exciting, fun, and honestly a bit overwhelming. Nothing beats my own bed, my two boys (my husband and cat), and I am really looking forward to getting back to my sewing machine. I am going to break down my thoughts and posts about QuiltCon a...
About a month ago I let everyone know that I plan to dress up at QuiltCon as my Alter Ego, Quilting Jetgirl, by wearing a flight suit and covering it with quilting related patches. Many of you have expressed regret at not being able to attend QuiltCon this year. I do hope to get lots of fun pictures of the...
As I mentioned to in my blog post last Friday, 15 Quilty Resolutions for 2015, I want to find ways to express joy and celebration through quilting. I have in mind a fun twist to my QuiltCon 2015 experience, and I hope you will join in on the fun with me! To make sure the coast was clear, I contacted QuiltCon staff...
Well, neither of my quilt submissions were selected for QuiltCon (details can be found in my QuiltCon submission post). With over 1,350 submissions, this isn't too surprising. I am still very excited to attend QuiltCon in February; I hope to see you there!
Did you get a quilt accepted into the show?
The call for entries for the QuiltCon 2015 Quilt Show opened July 1, 2014 and runs through November 30,2014. The Modern Quilt Guild (MQG) has run a series of blog posts about the Quilt Show:

QuiltCon Quilt Show: Entry Process
QuiltCon Quilt Show: The Judging Process
I decided to submit 2 of my quilts for consideration:...

This tech talk tutorial is going to focus on how to apply some of these techniques to craft blogs. My top 5 recommendations are below, and if technical background is boring, you can...
Even with all the QuiltCon 2015 registration distractions yesterday, I was able to finish piecing the blocks for the Positive Nap Quilt. I really enjoyed spending time arranging the blocks. I wasn't sure it was going to be possible, but I was able to keep a fabric from repeating in each row and column. Even better, I was able...
I knew that registering for the Modern Quilt Guild's upcoming mega awesome and exciting QuiltCon 2015 was going to be an interesting process with plenty of life lessons in patience. I was basing this assumption on how quickly the hotel rooms sold out for the event earlier this year (a whole year in advance!). With that in mind, I carefully...
