Effervescence Quilt Along – Blocks 22-25

Now that we have more stitch and flip experience, we are starting to work with some smaller pieces.

Don’t forget that it can be really helpful to flip your piece open BEFORE trimming to make sure the pieces are sewn together correctly. I did not do that when I sewed the bottom row for Block 22 and ended up needing to cut new pieces. Oops!

Block 24 Quilt

Block 24 Expanded into a 48″ x 48″ Quilt

Shown above is what a quilt could look like if (12) Block 24 and (12) mirror image Block 24 were pieced and arranged in an alternating fashion. For some reason, this really gives me an Alice in Wonderland vibe.
