Effervescence Quilt Along – Blocks 8-11
I really like seeing the bonus HSTs paired up with the blocks that created them.

Block 10 Quilt
Block 10 Expanded into a 48″ x 48″ Quilt
Occasionally during the quilt along, I am going to share what a quilt could look like using a single block as inspiration. I thought the shapes in Block 10 were interesting, and doubly so if a mirror image of the block is paired with it. Making (12) of each block can yield a 48″ x 48″ quilt top. And with careful fabric placement, hearts start to show up in the secondary design created by the staggered, repeating blocks. Fun!

I can’t believe I’m keeping up. The blocks are easy to piece. Can’t wait for the next set of instructions. I love that we are piecing rows as we go.
