Today’s instructions include information to piece Blocks 5-7; then we get to piece the first row of the quilt! Fabric F

Block #5 uses Fabric F for the first time. Did you opt for a contrasting fabric for Fabric F? As I shared in the Fabric F Discussion, there is no wrong choice!!

Pressing Matters

I like to press my seams open, so I use a short stitch length (~2.0 mm) to keep my seams from unraveling. Again, there is no wrong way to make a quilt, and if you like to press to the side, the pattern indicates the best way to press each row so that your block seams will nest when the quilt top is sewn together.
