Last February, I participated in the limited time What is Love? modern quilt block event. My contribution to the event was the Candy Hear Love quilt block.
Candy Heart Love Block
My inspiration for the block: When I think of Valentine’s Day, I think of candy hearts. When I consider what love is, to me, love is an expansive feeling and means making room for more. With those two thoughts in mind, I designed the Candy Heart Love quilt block to be a fun, cropped, modern quilt block that might just inspire you to keep coming back for more!
Candy Heart Love Lap Quilt
Throughout 2023, I had a goal of expanding the block into a full quilt pattern with multiple sizes, but for lots of varying reasons, that priority has never shifted to be at the top. So, I have decided to release the block as a stand alone digital PDF. And the good news is that the block pattern does include information about how to use the block to create a 60″ x 60″ lap size quilt!
