Cloudy Night Sky {Fabric Prep}

After finally overcoming the urge to put off cutting the fabric for my next project, I’m happy to report that the worst is over and I’m ready to start piecing Cloudy Night Sky.

Cloud Night Sky – Fabric Prep

I’m using Kona cotton in Nightfall and Snow. My 28mm rotary cutter was perfect paired with the drunkard’s path templates from Jen Carlton-Bailly.

The design wall doesn’t look like much now, so I guess that means it’s time to pin and start sewing some curves. I’m hopeful that I can piece, quilt, photograph, and get the quilt entered into consideration for QuiltCon 2024. The deadline for submissions is October 31st, and right now I think that gives me plenty of time…

    You are organized and disciplined enough to make the deadline. But sewing to deadlines isn’t a lot of fun sometimes. Good luck!
