Last week I had a lot of computer work to do, and hopefully this week I’ll be able to dig out of the computer work hole a bit. I am putting the finishing touches on the first draft of my next quilt along pattern, I need to work out the sizing and yardage for the quilt I want to make and submit to QuiltCon this year, and I’ve been quite busy on the technical editing side of my business. The *only* downside to all the computer work is that I haven’t had as much time sewing or even time to touch fabric (one of my favorite short on time practices is to go through my stash and create a fabric pull).

Alison Glass from @southbaybella_destash
Early in the summer, Isabellle Selak (@southbaybella) did some destashing on her Instagram destash account (@southbaybella.destash) and I couldn’t resist picking up some Alison Glass yardage. The fabric arrived late in July but has been sitting on my cutting mat, so I’ll probably press and put the fabric away as a treat later today. That’s one way to get some time in with fabric, right??
I hope you have a great week. What are you working on this week?
Hi Yvonne. You know I have a soft spot for Alison Glass fabrics! I can’t wait to see how you add in these delicious fabrics in a future project or projects.
I’m not going to get much chance to do that either this week but will be trying to get a few hexies done for the 100 days project, big party next Saturday the kid just turned 35 and hubby turns 59 on Saturday. have a great week hopefully you get that fabric time.
Love your stash addition! I am not getting much done this week…traveling Tuesday to Tuesday. So, today tidying up and packing but there will be some prep work on a few things so I am ready when I get back!
Fun fabric to stash! I have one of those ‘very little sewing’ weeks coming up ahead with company in town + our granddaughter coming for a few days. So good reasons, but I sure did savor my sewing time over the weekend.
Very fun fabrics. Sorry about all the computer work. Hopefully you made good headway and can reward yourself with some fabric time.
