Thank you so much for your well wishes; what a difference a week makes. I’m feeling better and have short periods of good energy. Hooray!

Congruence – Quilt Plan Marked and Basted
Since all of my quilting plan options for Congruence (including Plan C) have the same straight line quilting, I went ahead and got the quilting lines marked out on the quilt top using my Hera marker (Tips for Using a Hera Marker) AND I was able to get the quilt basted this weekend (Quilt Basting Tips and Tricks).

Congruence – Basted
I used Kona Carnation for the quilt backing, and I also chose to add the Kona Carnation scrap left over after basting to my Sunrise Sherbet fabric pull. I plan to use 50wt Aurifil 4093 (Jade) for all of the quilting, even over the Kona Oyster pieces. I reserve the right to change my mind after I quilt a section, but it would result in so much less tying off and thread burying if I could do the quilting with only one color!
Glad to hear your feeling better!
Glad to hear you’re feeling better! I think the teal over everything would look wonderful. Seeing a little bit of quilting on the oyster sections I think will look great. Can’t wait to see the progress.
Glad you’re feeling better! Jade stitches on the white fabric could be really pretty. You’ll have to see whether it meets your expectations. There are a lot of ends to bury, but that’s the way of life for a quilter.
So glad you are feeling better! Love the colors in your quilt top, and the addition of the Carnation for backing is really fun!
The basting and marking looks great! I think the jade on the white will be quite lovely. Good luck with the quilting!
Love your choice of backing. And yes about one color thread. I think it’ll work great. Glad you are getting spurts of energy now!
Love the color of this quilt. Happy quilting!
Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better this week. Time is a great healer. The markings look wonderful, I can hardly wait to see this quilted.
Good to hear that you are feeling better, it’s just not fun to be under the weather. Looking forward to seeing how the quilting works out.
