Congruence {Quilting Plan C}

I’m still very low energy and not feeling well, and I am feeling pretty stir crazy.

Congruence Quilting Plan C

About all the energy I had in this past week was to come up with what is likely the final quilting plan for Congruence, Plan C. Based on feedback from a week ago, I think this splits the difference and seems achievable. Hopefully I’ll be up for marking and basting the quilt top sometime soon.

  1. Oh I like C, it gives the quilt more movement. Hope you feel better and get your energy back soon.

    This looks really good! I’m changing my previous vote to this one.
    Be patient with yourself. It can take a while to recover, even from a mild case. Just do what you feel like doing, and stop to rest at the first sign of fatigue. You will eventually feel 100%

    Love the final plan! Hope you feel better soon. I’d love to know how you mark the top to get the rounded corner squares. Wasn’t sure I it was a template or combination of tools.

  5. I like your final plan, it has a good continuity throughout. I sure hope you can be out a bit soon!

  6. I am so sorry that covid still has you down. I love this version of the quilting plan. Have you played with ideas for the sherbet stash you pulled the other day?

    Sorry you still aren’t feeling well. But yay for having your quilting plan for when you’re ready for it!

    Looks beautiful. Take your time basting/marking, it’s a lot of work under normal circumstances & you’re trying to recover from a nasty illness. I hope you’re feeling better soon.

    I truly hope you and your husband start feeling stronger soon, but please be patient with yourselves. It’s impossible to understand exactly how another person is feeling, but I have a pretty good idea how you do. Like you, Hubs and I had avoided Covid all this time, but in mid-March we came down with it. We fell into this deep pit of exhaustion, feeling as though we had a bad sinus infection, so we tested ourselves again. And there it was, dang! So we took our doctor’s advice and along with the anti-viral prescription (horrible stuff!) did little but drink fluids, sleep, and eat what we could despite a lack of appetite. We felt like wet dishrags. Even now, at the end of May, we have yet to get our full energy back. It’s been a long road, but we’re seniors and our doctor explained this was not surprising considering the age factor (70’s plus). But we ARE improving and you will too, so hang in there girl! You’re much younger than we are and that should make a big difference (short walks in the fresh air help quite a bit).
    We’ll keep you in our prayers.

  11. Oh Yvonne, it just sucks and I’m so sorry to hear this, especially as you’re not a sit around and do nothing type of person. Yet, I am so glad you are vaccinated – just cannot ponder for more than a second or two, what it might’ve been like without them. The plan looks good, and will come together when it comes together.

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
