I keep reminding myself that slow and steady wins the race. Or in this case, finishes a quilt.

Congruence – Pieced Blocks
A stitch at a time over the last week and a half or so added up to a stack of pieced quilt blocks earlier this week. And what a satisfying thing it has been to see these scraps turning into something more!

Congruence – Pieced Quilt Top
My apologies for the late night photo, but last night I got the quilt top pieced together (insert happy dance!!). I’m really pleased with it and now I can have fun designing a quilting plan. I have some ideas, but I really like to sketch them out to see how they work before committing to them.
What are you working on this weekend?
No apologies needed for the late night photo, I’d be excited too for such a lovely finish!
I am always so impressed by the perfection of your curves. Wonderful quilt design.
How satisfying to have the top done! I like the teal fabric with the white, and it’s fun to look at the quilt and notice how the blocks create so many designs within the quilt. Will be fun to see how you decide to quilt it!
That is an absolute stunner! I am so excited for that pattern! My weekend plans include deciding which one of your transparency patterns to start for a birthday present for my cousin. She is a huge purple fan so just need to pull out my Kona color chips and pick out some purples. I got all three patterns and I love them all – it will be a tough decision
That is so super cool!!!! Its fun to watch the blocks stack up…. but when you get to start seeing the top come together!!! Thats even better… totally worth a late night photo!
Wonderful quilt top. I love the colors.
Another great quilt! I’m sure whatever you decide for the quilting will really enhance the beauty of this quilt!
Love this design… and that color!!
Love that top. I am working on catching up….some house blocks, finishing row 3 of the diatom QAL, getting my website stabilized again, and maybe a bee block for my QAL.
Eye catching!
