#2022KonaFoodQuilt {Raffle Open!!!}

Do you remember my Tangerine Peels block that I shared at the end of August?

Well, that block and 35 others have been combined together into the #2022KonaFoodQuilt, and the raffle to win the quilt is open through December 4th!

Our quilt is a large throw size, 72” square. Each block was created with high quality quilter’s cotton. It’s lined with Quilter’s Dream cotton batting, backed with cotton fabric, with scrappy binding on all sides. It can be machine washed on the gentle cycle and line-dried/tumble dried on low.

We are raising funds for community food pantries, food banks, and food justice orgs nationwide. In most cases, these local fridges/pantries/cabinets are maintained and stocked by the communities in which they are located. They provide people experiencing food insecurity easy, accessible, and free access to a variety of foods and personal care items. Yesterday, the fundraiser opened and raffle tickets will be “purchased” by way of a direct donation to those local pantries.

Our fundraiser runs from 12/1 @ 9am EST through 12/4 @ 9pm EST.

I’ve chosen to support the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry, which is roughly local to where I live, and I have made my donation and entered the raffle. Will you join me?

    That food quilt turned out so beautiful. I particularly love your blocks as half of my family is very attached to the orange color.

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
