2023 Quilter’s Planner

It might seem crazy, but I’m already well into planning dates and business goals for 2023. Thankfully, one of my favorite tools to help me stay organized and on track publishes and ships in plenty of time: the Quilter’s Planner.

For my 2023 Quilter’s Planner, I chose the Rainbow Radiant Cover, and I love how bold and bright it is. Hopefully it will make it easier to spot when it inevitably gets buried under paperwork and project debris in my studio!

The tabs on the planner are color coded, and I really love how matchy-matchy they are with the Rainbow Radiant Cover!

There are a lot of customization options with the Quilter’s Planner. One of my favorite options is to have dot paper for the weekly page spreads. I love having more doodle space and find that it’s perfect for my combination approach to list making / dot journaling and design sketching.

In terms of customization, you also get the choice of whether the day of the week starts on Monday or Sunday. This year I’m giving the Monday start a try; we’ll see how that feels as I’ve been so conditioned to thinking of Sunday as the first day of the week.

For full disclosure, I’m still a part of the Quilter’s Planner team: I am the technical editor for the patterns that are included in the planner. The planner is packed full of fantastic tips, patterns, and excellent references. This year the planner, with the spiral binding, is approximately 9″ x 9″ square. If you are looking for a planner or a gift for the quilter in your life, I’d definitely suggest giving the Quilter’s Planner!

Speaking of planning for 2023, I’ll be hosting the #2023PlanningParty here on my blog, and the linkup will be open from December 12-31, 2022, so mark your calendars.

Curious about how the Planning Party works? Here are the previous year’s linkups for you to peruse if it helps:

Note: These are not affiliate links and the Quilter’s Planner truly is a product I use and enjoy!

I start my week on Mondays, no reason why, just something I’ve always done. I am not so great at writing in a journal or a planner, I have tried but failed miserably.

Is it really that time of year already? I’ve tried the planner and they are really cool, but I never seem to be able to stick with the paper version. I do better with my electronic flies.

This is a beautiful planner, but as others have said, I’m just not good at it anymore. I HAD to plan and calendar events & projects during my working career in order to keep organized and it was always a challenge for me. It was “plan your work and work your plan”. So maybe now it’s laziness, maybe we’re just too old, or maybe it’s because we’re retired, I haven’t seen age 70 in a while. So I make a list (or lists) in a spiral notebook, add dates and work from that. If something doesn’t get done on time, oh well, I just relist it and re-date it. But critical stuff and doctor’s appts go on my PC calendar. My husband, a self-admitted computer illiterate, (“I still use a smoky campfire and a blanket”) documents his appointments on the paper calendar hanging on the ‘fridge. Silly us.

I loved my planner the year I used it. That was the very first year. I just found that I like small planners which can fit in my purse more. I think it is really neat that you can have dots for the weekly pages. I would find that very helpful. I must say though that your rainbow is missing purple, but has your favorite blue. 🙂

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
