June Through September Stash Kona Club Fabric

When my husband and I were finalizing our plans to move, I knew it was going to throw a curve ball to Stash Fabrics in their delivery of my monthly Kona Club fabric. They were fabulous and understanding, and they were able to wait to ship my July and August fabric at the same time. I received the June fabric just before loading our sea container and I didn’t even open the box; I packed it like it was sent to me. Now that things are more settled, receiving the September fabric was an absolute joy.

The range of greens for this month falls on the warm side of the green palette.

When I was arranging my stash, I made sure that I would have enough room to put all 12 months of the club on my shelving. I really don’t plan to cut into the fabric too much; I want to see it all together before I make any big plans. That said, I did use some Tangerine to make the Tangerine Peels block for the 2022 Kona Food quilt. You can probably see that I didn’t get it folded up quite the same way in the July stack.

In case you were wondering, I’ve labeled each month in the photo above. How are we just over 3 months away from the end of the year?!? I have some projects I need to get finished. Eeek!

Those stacks are gorgeous and absolutely filled with potential! I was looking at all of them by month and trying to pick a favorite. It is almost impossible tho. For some reason I am drawn to the neutrals in April.

  5. What a beautiful rainbow of fabrics!

Oh my! That is a beautiful sight. I would have so much trouble cutting into them. I love the greens; and January; and February and May and July and August. Hmm. Don’t know how that classifies me! I hope you enjoy using those fabrics in the next few years.

  9. That is a gorgeous layout for the fabric stash. You have done a fabulous job planning this space, and what fun it will be to see a year of Kona on your wall!

  10. I totally get wanting to not disturb it until it’s all on the shelves! I just love petting and stroking a new stack. 🙂

Your stacks are so pretty that I would have a hard time cutting into them as well. I love the Rainbow ombré look on your shelves. Will you keep them in the month order or put them in rainbow order later?
