Aurifilosophy Virtual Lecture

Early this year, I began the training process to become a certified Aurifilosophy instructor. I am pleased to announce that I am now offering a virtual Aurifilosophy Trunk show.

Fox Wholecloth Quilt - My Husband's Fox

Fox Wholecloth Quilt – My Husband’s Fox (Made using Aurifil 40/3 Thread)

Aurifilosophy – All About Thread!

90-120 minute lecture and trunk show

Are you ready to achieve brilliant results with all the amazing weights of luscious Aurifil thread? I’ll share a structured presentation and large trunk of Aurifil projects (many quilted on my home / domestic machine) that were pieced and quilted exclusively with Aurifil thread.

We will cover thread basics, including information on weight and ply, spool positioning, bobbin thread weight considerations, needles, and tension settings. Packed with helpful tips and tricks, I’ll share projects and photos aimed to inspire and expand your use of Aurifil threads on all your quilting projects. Each program attendee will receive a small spool of thread and an Aurifil Product Brochure*.

You’ll leave inspired with your new knowledge!

*Note that program SWAG will be sent to the hosting organization after each virtual event after an accurate headcount of attendance can be made. It will be the responsibility of each hosting organization to safely distribute items once received.

If you or your organization are interested in hosting an Aurifilosophy virtual lecture, please reach out to me via email at yvonne (at) quiltingjetgirl (dot) com to schedule your event today!

  4. What fun to be an Aurifil Certified Instructor – forwarded it to our programming people. I think there was still one hole in our lecture schedule for this year….one can always hope. You have done some fabulous thread work, so it will be a terrific show!
