I have had a really productive week. Not only was I able to finish squaring up the Bonus Bouquet blocks, but I got the quilt top pieced and it is now basted and ready for quilting. I really love this design, so to not spoil it too much, I’m going to wait to give you the full reveal next week during Pat Sloan’s Morrison Park Tour. My day to share is on October 2nd, and I will probably follow up with a full finish post just for Bonus Bouquet on October 3rd as well.

Basting
The next logical step after basting a quilt is to make the binding, right? Well, at least that was what I did next for this quilt!

Bonus Bouquet Binding Roll
I wanted to make sure I could use the last of my Morrison Park fabric scraps to create a scrappy binding, and I think it just might be the prettiest binding I’ve ever made. I mean, does it get any better than rainbow?!?
I really can’t wait to share two quilts with you next week as part of the Morrison Park Tour. The full tour schedule is below; rumor has it that there will be a giveaway offered on each day!
I look forward to seeing your quilt! The gray sets the fabric off well.
Oh, that binding is so pretty, just curled up like that! Looking forward to seeing your quilt, though. It’s so precise – everything matches just so!
Ooh that binding! It looks so beautiful, and I’m sure it’d be a blast to put on the quilt and to see when the colors shift. I look forward to your full quilt reveal!
Looking forward to your post! And ooh that binding, gotta love a scrappy rainbow one.
I think I would have a hard time using that binding it looks so pretty! Scrappy binding, I will have to explore that one some day.
That rainbow binding is what we need to brighten this rainy day in SC!
I love the look of that binding. Can’t wait to see the new piece.
Well, you do intrigue me! I’m a sucker for curves, and love the ideas inherent in this design: it appears as if the fabric inspired the design, and visa versa. Looking forward to the reveal!
I love the little taste you’ve given. I’m sure the whole quilt will be just ahhhhsome!
I’ve done one rainbow binding and it worked out beautifully. Hopefully you are already finished with the Bouquet and ready to write your post for the week. How did it get to be October?
I loved your binding so colorful.
Love your designs!
