Thanks to Cheryl’s (Meadow Mist Designs) amazing technical editing help, today is the pattern release day for the Sky Full of Stars digital quilt pattern!
Deep dive into intermediate to advanced curved piecing techniques to create a joyful constellation of curve star blocks. The design is perfect for featuring your favorite large scale prints and fat quarter bundles. The Sky Full of Stars quilt uses curve star blocks and inset curve stars (which require gentle partial seams that are fully explained and illustrated).
Set a field stars against a background fabric to create a beautiful constellation. Because each star is pieced from a single 12 ½” square, this is a perfect design for featuring your favorite large-scale prints. The pattern offers three sizes: baby, lap, and queen and includes a bonus quilt for each pattern size!
::: Sizing / Finished Measurements :::
Baby: 48″ x 48″ (50″ x 55″ bonus quilt)
Lap: 72″ x 72″ (60″ x 65″ bonus quilt)
Queen: 96″ x 104″ (65″ x 70″ bonus quilt)
The Sky Full of Stars quilt requires the use of 6″ finished drunkard’s path templates, and the bonus quilt requires the use of 5″ finished drunkard’s path templates. Paper templates are included in the pattern, but you may use any standard drunkard’s path acrylic templates (I personally use templates from Jen Carlton-Bailly).
To celebrate the Sky Full of Stars pattern release, it is on sale through Monday, September 7th, so be sure to pick up your copy today!
