What better way to wrap up the year than with a fun finish? Today I’m happy to get to share my latest Patron mini mini quilt reward.
My patron loved an earlier Om mini mini quilt that I made in blue. When they requested green, I thought it was certainly fitting for a make at this time of year.
To make the mini mini quilt, I found an image of the Om symbol in Sanskrit and printed it out at 4 inches square. I carefully cut the symbol out and then traced the shape onto a solid white quilting cotton. I made my quilt sandwich and started quilting by free motion quilting the outline and then densely pebble quilting the background.
The backing and binding are a bright green crossweave, and I really like the texture that the dense quilting visually adds to the back of the mini mini quilt. The quilt finished at just over 4 1/2 inches square.
I hope that you have a very Happy New Year and wish you the best in 2020!
