Cheryl Brickey of Meadow Mist Designs is back with her 5th annual mystery quilt, called the Mosaic Mystery, kicking off on Thursday, July 4th. This confident beginner level quilt along is completely free to join and has a relaxed pace with monthly instructions posted on the first Thursday of each month. All quilt instructions will be posted on the Meadow Mist Designs blog and you can find all information about the quilt along on the Mosaic Mystery page. Join over 3,700 other quilters in the active Meadow Mist Designs Facebook Group . Cheryl is also offering a non-mystery option for those that want to join in, but would rather see the design ahead of time. You can sign up for the non-mystery option here.
The Mosaic Mystery Quilt reveal parade prizes are awarded randomly to quilters who submit a picture of a finished quilt top or quilt to the reveal parade in April (the last mystery quilt had over 300 quilts!). New this year is that in addition to having the reveal parade prizes, the quilt along will also have monthly prizes for those quilters who link up pictures of that month’s instructions.

PIE202 PIECING PRECISELY: DIFFRACTION QUILT BLOCK
Learn tips and tricks for maximizing your piecing precision, earned through Yvonne’s trial and error! We’ll create the Diffraction block using your standard quilting tools, but we will discuss how to apply precision techniques to future quilting projects for years to come.

Vermont Quilt Festival
And one final reminder that I will be at Vermont Quilt Festival in just over a week! I’ll be teaching 4 workshops and if you are there for the festival, I hope we get a chance to meet.

Mom and I will be driving up that Friday to walk around so we will be there to visit after your class! See you in a little over a week!
Yvonne, you must must meet Sarah Bond who is also teaching in Vermont. She has an interesting family story about quilts which I think you will really enjoy. She teaches traditional quilts like New York Beauty and Pickle Dish but she often picks colors on the fly based on her creative urges. I have taken several of her classes…she is a very unique person.
gosh so many people doing the one quilt! Cheryl’s mystery quilts are always lovely. Good luck with Vermont! That is exciting.
So much going on, isn’t there? I hope you have a great time in Vermont! it is such a gorgeous state. Hope you get some time to do a little sight seeing. Enjoy and safe travels.
I’m looking forward to Cheryl’s next mystery. Enjoy your time in Vermont. Seems like a nice place to be at the beginning of summer.
I look forward to seeing you at QuiltCon and thank you so much for highlighting the Mosaic Mystery!
