For the past few summers, Lee Heinrich, Faith Jones, and Katie Blakesley have hosted a popular quilt along called the Summer Sampler. Today I am really pleased to share with you that I am a designer in the Summer Sampler 2019!

The theme for this year is “Piecing Bootcamp”, so each block is based around a skill-building topic. The quilt along is perfect for all levels of quilters, from beginners on up to the experienced and advanced. The sampler includes a total of 21 Blocks, and a new block will be released each Monday, May 20-October 14.
In addition to the 21 new, unique quilt blocks, there are 2 sets of finishing instructions–participants can choose either layout (shown above), or come up with their own.
The Summer Sampler 2019 — Piecing Bootcamp price is $29.99 and is available for purchase starting today. Once registered, participants will receive a welcome PDF with fabric requirements, the schedule, the specific solids used in the mockup, and answers to frequently asked questions. Be sure to use Coupon Code JETGIRL when you checkout to receive a $5 discount. Note that the coupon code expires May 19th. And if you love the mockup of the finished quilt tops shown above, you can purchase a kit from Sewtopia using the 15 specially curated Moda Bella solids selected by Lee, Faith, and Katie.
I really look forward to sharing more details about the block I designed for the sampler. Can you guess which one I created?

Looking forward to another challenging but fun summer sampler….is yours the one with the circle cut in half….bottom row???
So cool! Congratulations 🙂
I’ve never playing along, although it has always looked liked fun. But this one caught my eye…I think I might be in……. ☺
The blocks look really interesting & I have a great supply of solids. Did you do the 3rd row up and 2ndto the left one?
Well Yvonne. You caught me! That and the fact that my friend Wendy is doing it as well…although she is more likely to get it done than me.
