Splendid Sampler II – Grandma’s Abiding Faith

The block I pieced this week, Grandma’s Abiding Faith, by Jill Shaulis (@yellowcreekquiltdesigns) seemed to call for more fussy cutting.

While we all know the Earth revolves around the sun and not the other way around, the block does seem nicely grounded with the Earth in the middle.

Be sure to visit The Splendid Sampler website to see the other blocks revealed today. And if you are sewing along, don’t forget to link up (on The Splendid Sampler site) your pieced version of any of the blocks from today’s reveal to be entered to win a prize.

Agree with you about the earth in the center. It’s the center of my world, at least, the arrangement of the solar system notwithstanding. What will you be doing with all your blocks? Have you already told us and I’ve forgotten?
