As I mentioned in the Star Cube Digital Quilt Pattern Release, pattern releases seem to come in waves. Today, I am very excited to release a very expanded digital quilt pattern for Refraction, which originally appeared in Issue 59 of Love, Patchwork & Quilting.
Refraction is one of my few non-symmetric quilt designs, which is something I am excited about and should probably explore a bit more! The pattern is written to help guide you through fabric selection to create your own spin on the design.
The wall hanging size was included in LP&Q Issue 59, and I have expanded the pattern to include baby, lap, and large lap sizes as well.
Many thanks to Cheryl from Meadow Mist Designs for her technical editing help and review of the pattern. My patterns are always improved after Cheryl reviews them for me!
To celebrate the Refraction digital pattern release, it will be on sale for $8 through the end of September.
I like how it makes the eyes flow from lightest to darkest and back. A stunning quilt.
I totally forgot about this one! It’s gorgeous! Congrats on another fantastic pattern release!
Another winner Yvonne. I really like how the Quilting accentuates the design, beautiful.
Congrats on the pattern release . . . it’s a great one.
Another gorgeous pattern and I can see why you want to explore the asymmetrical look more. Do you make all the versions or just “do the math”?
Hello Yvonne, Congratulations on another fantastic pattern release! It is going to be another winning pattern for you. Have a fabulous day!
It is gorgeous. Have you made one with prints? Imagine it made with Zuma!
Congratulations on the pattern release. It is a beauty in it simple asymmetry.
One of my top-three Quilting Jetgirl designs of all time. And that palette? Perfection!
Congrats on the new pattern release. It’s a very dramatic quilt.
