Back in December, I hosted the #2018PlanningParty, and now that the year is officially halfway over, I think it will be good for me to go back and review my goals and see where things stand for the year. I welcome you to take this opportunity to look back and reflect on your year as well, even if you did not join the original link up.
There are several giveaways up for grabs for those who link up, thanks to the following generous sponsors. The giveaways will be given to randomly selected people who linkup.
Aurifil is giving away one Vanessa Christenson – Simply Ombre large spool collection.
Make Modern is giving away one six month membership.
Cheryl from Meadow Mist Designs is giving away 2 digital quilt patterns to 3 winners.
Yvonne from Quilting Jetgirl is giving away 2 digital quilt patterns to 3 winners.
#2018MidYearReview
The #2018MidYearReview linkup will be open today, Sunday, July 1st, through Sunday, July 15th, at 11:55pm (Eastern Standard Time).
Although not a blogger, I enjoy reading what others are doing and sometimes am motivated to work along. I didn’t commit a list to writing but in my head, I’ve done quite a few things I thought I would…of course, since it is only my memory we are relying on, I could be deceiving myself!! But I did pick up 2 quilts from the LAQ yesterday and I’m working on other projects.
Really enjoyed class with VMQG. Planning the next quilt already bc in retrospect I don’t quite like one of my color choices. I may make a big pillow out of yesterday’s effort and start anew with a lighter orange for color number 3.
Yvonne, I was thinking about this a few days ago. My 2018 plan is totally shot but I will enjoy everyone else’s plans. I’ll restart in 2019. Thanks for hosting
I cant remember if i linked up last time, but i know I have before. I will have to check this out.
I probably should have signed up. The only quilt that I completed was your transparency quilt. I see a quilt on the net and piece it. But it is added to a pile of unquilted quilts. I need to make a plan for getting these quilts quilted. I am quilting a king size quilt for my bed on my Bernina Aurora 430 and it is taking me forever. But I am determined to get it done.
Great idea! Thanks for the added incentive to relook at the year’s goals.
I’m ready for a bit of a review myself.
This is great, I will be reviewing my post and checking on my progress. I know I have done some but am behind on others, but hey, I have six months to catch up. Thanks Yvonne.
I am not that far behind on my lone unofficial goal: I have six humidicrid quilts in various states of completion. If they were finished, I would be on track!
We just finished mid-years at work. So this was a good exercise on the quilty front. Thanks for encouraging the check in.
Thanks so much Yvonne for my six month check up.
This is fun seeing what everyone has been working on.
I can’t believe that half a year has passed! I need to look at my goals and get my post written.
That was a fun post to write. Sometimes I forget how much I’ve actually accomplished. Thanks for hosting!
Great to see everyone’s progress. I* am linked-up also. Thank you for hosting this event every year,
Always good for a check in/review. Two out of three ain’t bad…we’ll see how the rest of the year goes.
