Wow, it’s hard to believe this is the 4th week of Giveaway Friday… and I’ve got weeks of giveaways lined up to keep going!

Total Composites
My husband and I are building a custom expedition vehicle, and we purchased the habitat box from Total Composites. The big expedition vehicle “conference” (think the equivalent of QuiltCon) of the year, Overland Expo West, was last weekend in Flagstaff, AZ, and we were unable to attend due to other family commitments. Luckily for us, the owner of Total Composites drove right through our town and we were able to meet up and chat for a bit earlier this week. It was inspiring to see a finished vehicle.

Wabi-Sabi Overland
Above is the design that my husband and I are working to build and create. Hopefully you noticed the very prominent sewing machine through the side window! If you want to keep track of our progress, you can follow our Wabi-Sabi Overland blog or Wabi-Sabi Overland Instagram accounts.
Today I am giving away (1) Modern Quilts Unlimited Issue 19 and (1) Modern Quilts Unlimited Issue 22. I will ship to any US address, but if you are an international follower, I don’t want to leave you out. So if someone internationally wins, they will get their selection of 1 PDF pattern from my shop.**
To enter, use the Rafflecopter widget below. The giveaway is open until Sunday, May 27th, at 9pm Eastern. By entering, you acknowledge that you are 18 years of age or older. Winners will be randomly selected and emailed. To claim your prize, you will have 48 hours to reply via email or a new winner will be selected. Good luck!
*Note that I try to reply to every comment I receive, but the volume of comments on giveaway posts are too much for me to respond to everyone individually.
**Meander Publishing, the company that publishes Modern Quilts Unlimited and Machine Quilting Unlimited just announced this week that they are closing. For more details, you can read about it on the Craft Industry Alliance blog.
I love , love Flagstaff, Arizona. It is green and the mountains are beautiful.
My husband and I are embarking on an ambitious travel plan to visit all the National Park units east of the Mississippi Ricer during next few years. Hope to make it to some of the bigger units out west as well!
To me there is no better place to go than the Boundary Water Canoe Area (BWCA). I spent many a summer back-packing and canoeing in this peaceful and scenic area. Just remember, a lot of that area does not permit motors, so no boats and no motor vehicles–sorry.
Love that vehicle and the sewing machine in the window.
Mississippi was my favorite, warm and beautiful. So different from living up north to go down south.
My favorite getaway is Marco Island, FL.
Our favorite place to get away is 1000 islands New York.
This is really impossible to answer! We have traveled in 47 states in our nation and 7 foreign countries. It might be easier to say where I would like to visit next. I guess Colorado has been a favorite, but we have done a lot of exploring in that state. But I think I will say CA because we have so much family out there that I would love to see again.
I love traveling in New Zealand.
I love traveling to Sun River, Oregon. You and your husband are courageous building your own vehicle like that. I will be interested to see how it turns out!
Alaska. It was amazing and I would love to go back. Lots of quilt shops too.
We had a great trip to the South, including Tennessee and Kentucky which we thoroughly enjoyed.
There are so many places to see that are beautiful, Hawaii, Colorado, North Carolina, Tennessee, but the place that makes me the happiest right now is visiting my grandkids. The perfect music for my heart.
My favorite place was a trip to Alaska. We had a great time and I was very surprised by the weather.
I love going to Tuscon and seeing the Humming birds. I would live there if I could convince my husband to move.
Hiya!
We love to go camping in Summerland, BC. It’s about a 4.5 hour drive from our home…so not too far, and we spend our 2.5 week summer holiday there….glorious!
I’m in Canada, so if I were to win, I’d get to pick out one of your lovely patterns!
Thanks & Quilty Huggs!
My favorite place to visit is Toronto.. yep Canada. Beautiful City with lots of amazing things to do. And the food.. to die for.

Never been out of the USA but I have enjoyed Sandpoint, Idaho.
I love to travel and visits to Iceland and Scotland are two favorites.
I love visiting the Redwoods– they are just so amazing!
Banning mills in GA. Amazing zip line course!! Best vacation EVER!
I loved Hawaii. Looks like you will be going on a great adventure.
I am enjoying watching the development of your adventuremobile :). My favorite place to visit is the Pacific Ocean, Oregon Coast is first choice, second is Washington. We are planning a trip to Ireland this fall – that might become my new favorite!
The finished vehicle is pretty amazing, but of course yours will be vastly superior, on account of the sewing machine.I really love your technical drawing/plan – it would like great quilted onto something.
