My husband and I will be downsizing our living accommodations a few times over the next year to year and a half. We have already been doing a lot of work to remove clutter, but it’s an ongoing process. Last weekend we spent time on our long term storage closet, and I came away with a stack of magazines that I will not have room to keep in the future. As there is no point in recycling these pristine magazines, I am going to host a series of giveaways to spread around the quilting inspiration.
In addition to the giveaways that I will be hosting, I have also listed many of my finished quilts for sale in my shop. I would love for them to find homes where they will be used, loved, and enjoyed!

Down sizing is difficult. We did it when we moved from IL to AL 5 years ago to live near our oldest daughter. Don’t think I have a favorite block, but I do enjoy doing PP and EPP.

Thanks for the giveaway. I wish I had the mojo to do what you are doing. I am proud of you. It takes great strength to downsize and let go of what you thought was important for whatever reason. I know I have trouble letting go of things because there were times in my life where my belongings were thrown out without my consent. I had no control over the decision, so now that I have control, it’s difficult to relinquish it because that choice was taken from me many times. Thanks for the giveaway.

I really love lots of blocks. Many star blocks hold a place in my heart. I’m kinda stuck on Churn Dash blocks lately. And HSTs are so versatile. Thanks so much for the giveaway and best of luck with the downsizing. I started doing that last summer and am still working on it. Blessed be, hugs!!!

I love a good churn dash block. They can be classic or modern, and it was my very first block!
It’s hard to pick just one block pattern as a favorite, there are so many fun ones out there.
I like an easy pinwheel block with good contrast.

I would have to say that the log cabin is my favorite quilt block. The first time I really paid attention to quilts, this is the one that drew me in.

What a great way to downsize and get the magazines into new homes. While we are not moving, my hope is to downsize my stash to take up less room and be full of only fabrics that I will truly use.
I don’t really have a favorite block, as each quilt I make is different. (i have a tendency not to make the same thing twice.)
I like traditional blocks, especially log cabin and 9 patch. so versatile.
My favorite block to make is a pieced heart — especially using batiks.
So nice of you to share with those that will enjoy reading the magazines. It seems it would be hard parting with your quilts, but I know others will appreciate them!
