Kelly from My Quilt Infatuation is celebrating the publication of her book, Stash Statement, today! (Psst, I hear she has a giveaway or two on her blog, so you probably don’t want to miss it.) Also, be sure to visit Stash Statement publisher Martingale as well.
Stash Statement (Amazon, Etsy) (non-affiliate links) contains instructions for an easy introduction into improvisation and it is a wonderful book to encourage you to use up the scraps and fabric that you have on hand. The book contains three different methods for sewing fabric into new “made” yardage along with 12 quilt patterns.
In addition, each week from now through early July bloggers (like me) will be featuring one of the book quilts plus a bonus digital download pattern. The full schedule is below. I hope you follow along and enjoy the blog hop!

Looking forward to see what you and the other have made! Congrats, Kelly!
It’ll be fun seeing all the quilts on this book hop!!
This is a book I need to look into! I have so many bits and pieces of fabric that I’ve saved, cut into strips (some were even sewn together), some cut into squares, and they all seem to languish in a tub and hope that some day I will make something out of them. Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with! Congratulations to Kelly on her book! Nadine W. rnwillis@velotech.net
I love scrappy quilting books as I always have an abundance of scrap. It will be fun to follow this hop over the next months.
These look fun! You do some great projects, Yvonne.
Sounds fun! Good luck on your project!
