Works in Progress

Every year, I write a new quilt pattern as a reward for my Patreon patrons. I am putting the finishing touches on the test quilt for the 2018 pattern, which will release on February 5th, and I am really excited about it!

The pattern for 2018 is fat quarter friendly, and I used my Curated Fat Quarter Bundle for the Fat Quarter shop.

I do release the pattern to everyone at the same time, but the pattern will remain a “mystery” until after the purchase.

The release of a new “secret” or “mystery” pattern also means that I can reveal the design for the previous year’s pattern, so after this quilt is done I will be making a version of the 2017 pattern to share with you on February 5th! The name of the 2017 pattern is Fletched, and I am planning to make it in colors for Valentine’s day.

What are you working on this week?

Such a lovely fabric pull. Your ideas are always so clever, I can’t wait to see what you’ve got planned here.

  2. I like the motif you are using and the fabrics!

I am binding a Scandanavian style quilt, sewing one “book” a day for my book nerd quilt and making a few small fabric baskets for the small parts of my new blender…..

  4. The curated bundle is so pretty. I’m curious to see what you are up to! The quilting pattern is fun!

  5. I am looking froward to seeing it! For the quilting, is that a panto-graph? Such as awesome quilting design.

    Beautiful quilting!

  8. I really like that quilting motif. Very similar to a boxy meander, but I like the rounds corner and that the quilting back tracks on itself.

You are such a tease, I will be watching for the reveal. Love the quilting Yvonne and so neat and even, beautiful.

  10. Fletched? Arrows (with or without hearts and cupids) on Valentine’s Day seems appropriate!

Hello Yvonne; I am so looking forward to your new pattern in these beautiful fabrics! I am in the process of quilting a twin sized quilt. Today though, I am going to let my wrist relax and do something else. I do not know yet what….LOL. Have a great day!

I love FQ friendly patterns (because I’ve got an addiction to bundles) and I’m so curious to see what you’ll release. I see lots of Reef, so I’m sure it’ll be gorgeous!

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
