Finished Quilt {Wayward Transparency Quilt Along}

I am thrilled to share my third Wayward Transparency quilt finish with you today! I made this version during the quilt along. Full disclosure: no, it was not sewn early! I completed my steps after each new post was shared publicly.

I love this rich, deep blue background color. It was a treat to go from dark to light on this version of the quilt using Sarah Maxwell‘s fabrics designed for Marcus Fabrics / Studio 37.

I used 50wt Aurifil 2740 (Dark Cobalt) for the quilting and stuck with a dense crosshatching quilting like I have used on both of my previous Wayward Transparency quilt finishes.

It’s really fun to get to compare the three versions of the Wayward Transparency quilt that I have made this year, and that just makes me even more excited for the linkup that will open on January 12th where we will get to see all of the versions that were made during the Quilt Along. It’s going to be so much fun!

    Just like the other ones, this is awesome! Seeing as how striking I thought your first version was, I’m surprised at how much I’ve really like the dark to light versions. Of the two I’ve made, I like my dark to light version best. Thank you for the awesome quilt along and I look forward to seeing the link up in January!

    Mine is already pinned and ready to quilt…waiting on inspiration for that! It’s amazing to see the three versions together. Seeing it in three colors and prints and solids is a treat for the eyes!

    Hello Yvonne; Each of your Wayward Transparency quilts are so beautiful there is no way I could chose which one I like the best! You have designed another fantastic quilt pattern and also created three lovely quilts by choosing the fabrics that mastered the Modern Technique you have created. I love them! Spectacular achievement once again, Yvonne! Be very proud of yourself and have a great day!
