Isabella from South Bay Bella Studio created another fun block for December, the Star Catcher Block. I stayed as close to her color palette as I could with my fabrics for the bee and the block came together beautifully.
So, now I have a giant stack of quilt blocks…
…just waiting for me to spend time puzzling them together into a quilt top!
Here they are on my design wall, waiting for me to play! I have a few ideas for how I might want to approach piecing the quilt top, and I’ll definitely need to spend some “play” time arranging the blocks. I’ll be sure to share a bit about my process once it becomes more than a hazy move the puzzle pieces around kind of concept.
Thanks so much to Molli Sparkles for his fun, fabulous vision. It was great fun joining in and participating in The Honey Pot Bee throughout 2017, and I’m excited to see how the blocks evolve into a quilt top!
