I am really excited to share more about Christa Watson’s (Christa Quilts) debut fabric line, Modern Marks, for Benartex with you today. I had a pleasure of getting to work with a selection of Christa’s Modern Marks a few months ago. Before I talk about my experience using Modern Marks, I want to share what the full fabric line looks like.
The colors are really just as bright and saturated in person as they are shown in the swatches! Modern Marks is made up of fantastic modern blenders, and I was especially drawn to the prints that blend between two of the colors in the line, like the Half Ovals and Quirky Triangles. And the feature print in the collection, Modern Marks, ties it all together beautifully.
Saturated colors and prints that blend from one to another? Totally up my alley!
You know I love transparency design, and I have really enjoyed creating the same design using both solid and prints this year. I think that the detail that Modern Marks adds to the Transparent Ribbons design gives the quilt extra depth and visual interest.
The pattern for Transparent Ribbons is included in the full-color, glossy companion magazine that is included with the 2018 Quilter’s Planner.

I absolutely love these bright colors. I’d think about some spring and summer table toppers or place mats. They just shout flower colors to me. Thanks for participating in the giveaway. Blessed be, hugs.
