I am having a hard time thinking of my fabrics going from dark to light for this version of my Wayward Transparency quilt. I did many double takes making the first set of blocks for the quilt along, but I am sure I have the right number of pieces in the right color values.
48 half-square triangles are sewn and trimmed.
I couldn’t help but put a few of the HSTs together to get a sense of the color value progression. Only a few more days until the next set of piecing instructions are released!
The colors look good! I wonder if the closeness in values will enhance the transparency effect? Can’t wait to see 🙂
your colors look wonderful! any suggestions on how to wait fro another few days until the next instalment?
I like that you share when you struggle. I don’t like that I’m missing out on this BOM! Your fabrics are pretty, for blue!
I mean Quilt Along, not BOM! Silly me.
I think your values look just fine! I’m really liking your versions made from prints.
We’ll see how it comes together when the next set of instructions come out!! I think mine will work…but one never knows! I’m just thrilled that I’m actually on track for a change with this one!
I am very excited to see how this comes together! I love the idea of the inverted version of this quilt.
this shows a little preview of how the colours graduate. My teal blocks are sewn, just need to iron and trim.your blues are wonderful together.
I do love these fabrics! Excited for the next set of instructions…guess I know what I will be doing this weekend 🙂
Lovely fabrics!
Love your colors and fabrics!
