Wayward Transparency Quilt Along {Piecing Instructions #1}

I get more excited each week as I see more fabrics being selected, cut, and shared in the Quilting Jetgirl Facebook Group for the Wayward Transparency Quilt Along! One quick administrative note before we get to the first piecing instructions this week: I have created a Wayward Transparency Quilt Along Pinterest Board.

Instructions

The instructions are published in this post and are available in an easy to print PDF format, link below. The instructions will always remain in the blog posts, but the full PDF pattern is now on sale for $10 in my Quilting Jetgirl Craftsy and Etsy stores, and it is even available as a printed booklet!

Half-Square Triangles

Half-Square Triangles (HSTs): Two at a Time Method

  1. Place two squares right sides together.
  2. Mark a diagonal line from corner to corner on the wrong side of the lighter fabric.
  3. Sew a ¼ʺ seam allowance on either side of the marked diagonal line. Press to set seams.
  4. Cut along the marked diagonal line to form (2) HSTs. Press seams open.
