Last October, Becky Jorgensen from Patchwork Posse reached out to me and asked if I would be a guest designer for an online quilt group of over 700 quilters that she formed out of Patchwork Posse. I was thrilled that she thought of me, and after discussion of the details, I was excited to accept her invitation. Even more exciting is that I don’t have much longer to wait before I can share details of the quilt I designed specifically for her group, the International Association of Quilters, because my month as a guest designer is in September!
However, I really want to tell you about the International Association of Quilters right now because the sign up structure for the group has recently changed. If you love my work and want instant access to the full library of the history of the group (which dates back to 2014), with new patterns added monthly (my pattern will be added in September!), you have until August 31st to sign up. After that, those interested will be put on a waiting list until sign ups re-open at the end of December.
Becky has curated an awesome list of guest designers for 2017, including Cheryl Brickey from Meadow Mist Designs, Alyce Blyth from Blossom Heart Quilts, and Jennifer Fullton from Inquiring Quilter (just to name a few)! Last year included designers Christa Watson from Christa Quilts and Jessica Skultety from Quilty Habit.
Finally, in addition to everything that the group offers, Becky will be hosting a “Welcome Week” in early September with more fun surprises. I am very excited to share more about my design for IAQ in a few weeks!
