Tips and Tutorials Tuesday #22

Welcome to Tips and Tutorials Tuesday! There is a really fun month long (well, 32 day) blog hop underway right now that you might want to check out: the 2017 Back to School Blog hop hosted by Sam from Hunter’s Design Studio.

I’ll be back later this week with video tutorials on how to create circuit board quilting (like I quilted on Digital Wave) on both a domestic and longarm!

Upcoming Tips and Tutorials Schedule

  • #23: September 19th – September 30th
  • #24: October 24th – October 31st
  • #25: November 21st – November 30th
  • #26: December 13th – December 31st

I’m looking forward to seeing what you have to share this month!

A quick tip: masking tape is a good substitute for marking your quilting line when you can’t find your marking pen. I was teaching someone how to hand quilt a 9 patch for a pillow and realized I had no way of marking a quilting line. Looking for something to use, I found a narrow roll of blue masking tape. The tape provided a nice bright edge for my friend to follow, and was easy to remove from the material.

Thanks for hosting this link up Yvonne. Looking forward to your quilting tutorial. I already have your sunglasses case down as a project I must do SOON!

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
