Another month means another addition to my growing collection of Honey Pot Bee Blocks! For August, the queens shared a Queen Bee Block and a Pineapple Block. Based on what I have been learning about my preferences as we go along, I decided to make a Pineapple Block this month.
I took my time and I love how crisply the block came together! I added an extra round (as suggested) to bring the block up to 12 1/2-inches square (unfinished).
I really love the angles that are in this block!
The blocks very nearly fill up the top of my 3-foot wide by 6-foot long table. I’m happy to see there seems to be a pretty good balance of color right now. I am looking forward to seeing what September brings!
Clean and bright, it makes me think of ” The Sound of Music”, Lovely colours.
Love your pineapple block. Your blocks are all coming together with a nice mix of colour.
All of your blocks look so lovely together! I am very much enjoying your color scheme. 🙂
Another nice block!
The color balance in these blocks looks really good. really brings together a collection of blocks.
All of those blocks are looking yummy together. I think the addition of the pineapple block was a good choice.
Your blocks came out really nice. The pineapple block is one of my favorite quilt blocks.
Terrific-looking collection of blocks you’ve got there. I like when you do a block or two at a time, for all of a sudden! you realize you have a quilt. Or most of a quilt. I would have chosen the Pineapple over the Queen Bee block, too, although the latter is very cute.
Love how your blocks are coming together. Great colours.
oh these are looking SO good! I love the addition of the pineapple and how you sorted the colors!
They all look so great together, very pretty!
One day, I would like to make a whole pineapple block quilt. One day.
A beautiful and crisp pineapple. I love your blocks all together. You have a great balance of color.
