Quilters Through The Generations Interview

I’m just dropping in with a quick note today. Melva from Melva Loves Scraps has started a really interesting series on her blog called Quilters Through The Generations, and she will be posting her interview with me today. I hope you hop over to check it and maybe even more of her series or blog out!

I so enjoyed reading a bit more about you! I am glad that you shared the information and the link; she has a great idea going and I hope she keeps it going. It is always fun to learn a tad bit more personal things about a fellow quilter, I guess it just makes blogs more like a friendship. The quilts that you and your Mom made are so pretty, I loved the hand quilting that your Grandmother did on your Card Trick Quilt! Wow, how incredibly special to have a quilt that has a bit of you, your Mom and your Grandmother in it!! Thank you for sharing all of this extra information Yvonne. You have a great day!

  4. Those treasures are so worth a few stitches to keep forever. My Mum didn’t quilt, but was a dressmaker, and I guess my treasure was a baby gown of mine, in silk, all hand sewn, now 77 years old!!! Lovely to read of your earlier days in quilting, and the quilts that were a shared project.

A fun interview. It’s nice that you are not the only one in the family afflicted with the quilting bug.

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
