Welcome to Tips and Tutorials Tuesday! I am going to be starting working as part of the QuiltCon Crew marathon today. Pondering all the lifting, squatting, walking (running) and movement I have in store, I want to highlight my online friend Sandra from mmm! quilts who has a lovely series called Sunday Stretch for Sewists – Yoga Poses. If I am wise, I will be doing some serious stretching to begin and end my days at QuiltCon. I’ll try to remember to report back if I was good about following through on that suggestion!
In particular, Sandra’s post about Caterpillar (seen above) is one I want to keep in mind for myself this week. I especially like how she talks about the different areas the stretching will help as thinking through them keeps me more mindful as I go through the poses. And how perfect is her prop of a quilt? She knows her target audience well; that is something we all have on hand!
My blogging is going to be sparse for the remainder of February as I will have no ability to really reply back to comments in the manner that I would like. If you do have a question or comment, I will respond but please be more patient withe me – my normal almost instantaneous response rate is not going to be possible. 😉
