Tips and Tutorials Tuesday

Tips and Tutorials Tuesday #7

Stephanie from Late Night Quilter and The Quilter’s Planner has launched her free motion videos that compliment the 40 weekly inspirations that she shared in the 2017 Quilter’s Planner! You can enjoy these videos even if you don’t have a Quilter’s Planner, and I am looking forward to learning tips and new motifs from her throughout the year. She will be offering videos for both sit down and longarm machines, which is exciting.

I have to confess that I also savor these videos from her as a way to see and connect with her. Having quilting friends spread across the country means we don’t get to spend a lot of time together in person, and these videos are a fun way to enjoy her company.

To watch the videos, simply visit the 2017 Free Motion Quilting Designs page or click on the image above to watch the introduction and go to Stephanie’s YouTube channel.

Did you catch Carole’s tutorial for making a Valentine’s themed Table Topper last week? It’s a timely reminder that the holiday is right around the corner. Are you planning to make any special handmade gifts for Valentine’s day this year?

  2. I was just talking to my husband about quilts valentines gifts! I didn’t think he would get too excited about a valentines wall hanging. He didn’t argue.

I know Carole is unable to answer at the moment… can you tell me about the paper ruler strip she was using to mark her quilting design in the 2nd part of her Hearts All Around tutorial where she shows her quilting design choices and methods? Thanks.
