Tips and Tutorials Tuesday

Tips and Tutorials Tuesday #5

Welcome to the 2017 kick off for Tips and Tutorials Tuesday – which is going to be a weekly Tuesday feature this year. You know… except for last Tuesday. Because we all have those moments, I’m sure you know what I mean when I say it completely slipped my mind. #HonestyIsTheBestPolicy

Stephanie @Late Night Quilter and the creator of The Quilter’s Planner loves free motion quilting and the texture it creates. She included 40 free motion quilting tips and motifs within the weekly pages of her 2017 Quilter’s Planner and she is launching free videos to compliment each design this week!

Those swirls are what I imagine if I could see the wind. It blew all day, all night, and is still swirling, whistling and keening around our house. Beautiful quilting! This is Kansas, afterall.
We all have “those moments”, and you’re right… own it with a “mea culpa” , laugh and move on…

  4. Beautiful machine quilting Yvonne! With a computerized long arm, I haven’t done much FMQ but excited to see Stephanie’s videos to learn more.

Honesty is the best policy. I hope the link up is a great success and maybe one day I will participate.

  8. Hello Yvonne! Have you missed me? I certainly have missed you! Life has just been very busy and full of surprises. I really enjoyed each of the links posted especially Carole’s on measuring borders correctly. I have been doing that step wrong for so long, I am surprised any of my quilts could have a binding put on them. LOL. I believe I have finally learned how to do a link up, so hopefully I will have a great tip to share once in awhile throughout the year. I will definitely be checking out your tips and tutorials! Have a spectacular day tomorrow!

Yay! I can’t wait to learn all the things. I’m not a teacher of things so I have no tips of my own, but that’s not really the point is it? 😉
    E xx
