Tips and Tutorials Tuesday

Tips and Tutorials Tuesday #4

Welcome to the final Tips and Tutorials Tuesday link up for 2016! I am thrilled to be working with my friend Stephanie @Late Night Quilter to co-host this linky party. Get ready, because on January 3rd, 2017, we will ramp up to hosting every week!

Did you catch Leanne @Devoted Quilter’s FMQ Ornaments Tutorial from the last Tips and Tutorials Tuesday linkup? There is still plenty of time before Christmas this year to make a few for your tree or as gifts!

The Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day (well, week, really) opens tomorrow, December 7th! See the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day post for details on how to enter and participate.

What a great idea! I hate wasting my practice time with piles of practice squares just laying around and not really being used but now I can make ornaments. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Good morning, Yvonne 🙂 Thanks for featuring my ornaments tutorial! Reading that this is the final tips and tutorials link up for the year really makes it feel like 2017 is almost here!

  3. Alison says:

I’m so excited this link up started today! I went and updated today’s post to include all of my thoughts and tips on controlled scrappy quilts and leaders&enders. 🙂 🙂 🙂

I wish I could participate today. But I’m having hosting problems again. So I will look forward to January 3 and Tuesday’s there after. You and Stephanie will be hosting in 2017, right?

  5. Thanks for the reminder about Sew Mama Sew Yvonne! And for hosting the linky!

  6. Miriam says:

I love the ornaments tutorial. They would fit in a Christmas card… I need to practice my free motion quilting. It’s always fun to see what other sewists and quilters are making.

  7. Lisa says:

If I actually kept up with my reading I would have noticed that Sew Mama Sew was holding the give away and would have joined in with the giving….but oh well there is always next year!

  8. Love those ornaments! I think I might try to make a 1 or 2 a month next year so I’ll have enough to fill one of our trees. Now wouldn’t that be cool if I actually followed through with it.

  9. Thanks for hosting, Yvonne! Looking forward to this being a regular feature.

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
