Tips and Tutorials Tuesday #3

Welcome to Tips and Tutorials Tuesday! I am thrilled to be working with my friend Stephanie @Late Night Quilter to co-host this linky party. We are going to start off slow and build momentum. The link party dates through the end of the year will be:

  • Tuesday, November 15th – Link Party Open 3 weeks <– Today!
  • Tuesday, December 6th – Link Party Open 4 weeks

And starting in 2017 we will ramp up to hosting every week!

Today, Stephanie @Late Night Quilter is  sharing her favorite resources and tools for Power Cutting, which is a method for quickly, accurately and efficiently cutting fabric for a quilt.

I’m looking forward to seeing what you have to share!

  1. I have a 45mm rotary cutter, but now I can see how the 60mm would cut more layers much easier. Maybe in time for the wish list for December 25th.

  2. Paige says:

I love my 60mm rotary cutter. I have the same Olfa cutter as Nancy in the video. I’ve never thought of turning the mat as she does though. I might try her fabric folding method as well. Thanks to you and Stephanie for hosting Tips and Techniques!

  3. Jayne says:

Dang! I never thought I would need a 60mm rotary cutter for anything! How wrong was I?! Thanks for sharing!

  4. Susan says:

Thanks for restarting Tips and Tutorials!

  5. Teje says:

Hi and thank you for this great party! Just in time to show my simple Christmas pillow. x Teje

  6. So glad you are hosting this party. I almost forgot to link up and made my post a few days early. Thanks.

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
