Tips and Tutorials Tuesday

Tips and Tutorials Tuesday #2

Welcome to Tips and Tutorials Tuesday! I am thrilled to be working with my friend Stephanie @Late Night Quilter to co-host this linky party. We are going to start off slow and build momentum. The link party dates through the end of the year will be:

  • Tuesday, November 1st – Link Party Open 2 weeks <– Today!
  • Tuesday, November 15th – Link Party Open 3 weeks
  • Tuesday, December 6th – Link Party Open 4 weeks

And starting in 2017 we will ramp up to hosting every week!

I will be back later this week with a photo tutorial about making an add on top for your regular ironing board. I wanted to use it for a month (which turned into two) before telling you all about it and I can’t wait to share how my husband and I made the awesome modification!

First a quick reminder: signups for the 2017 Stash Bee open today!

Did you see Olena’s Curve Pieced Butterfly Block – Free Pattern and Tutorial from October’s Tips and Tutorials Tuesday link up? I agree so much with her thoughts behind the block: “I think it would be great for beginners as all the curved seams are really gentle.” Besides that, how cute are those butterfly blocks?

  1. I tend to forget we are one day ahead, so almost at the end of the first of November, a few more days to wait. Another fab event, you and Stephanie will be and have been so busy.

I love mutual sharing of tips and tutorials – great idea for a linky!

  3. Once more I stepped out of my box and applied to be a part of the Stash Bee. I’d seen those words around, but not aware of it. Many thanks for your post telling about sign ups being open for 20l7.

Wow, aren’t you exhausted from Market?!? I actually had a tip in my last blog post, great timing!

  5. I can’t wait to see your iron board top. The retreat I attended last year had them on all of the ironing boards and didn’t seem too complicated, but I forgot that I wanted to do that to mine until you mentioned it.

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
