Quilt Festival & Other Upcoming Events

I am really excited to say that I will be traveling to Houston, Texas, for Quilt Festival next week to work with my good friend Stephanie @Late Night Quilter in her Quilter’s Planner booth (I will be there November 3-5). Additionally, we will also have Quilt Theory patterns available for sale and be displaying three of the Quilt Theory quilts in the booth (Jelly Lanterns, Cross Cabins, & Highland Tile)!

Jelly Lanterns, Cross Cabins, and Highland Tile will be at Quilt Festival

If you happen to be attending Quilt Market, which starts in just a few days, Stephanie will be participating in a schoolhouse session with Christa Watson and Leah Day on book publishing. If you have any interest in writing a book or just want to hear some great folks speak, definitely check them out on Friday at 4:55pm.

Tiled Parquet, Ocean Path, and Strip It Down will be at Checker Distributors

If you’ve been excited to see our Quilt Theory quilts in person, the wait is over. 🙂 Three of the quilts (Ocean Path, Strip It Down, and Tiled Parquet) will be in the Checker Distributor’s area along with all of our patterns. Scrappy Geese (photo above), will be in the Michael Miller Fabrics area.

We hope you’ll find us and come say hi! And if you won’t be in Houston, be sure to follow us on Instagram for updates (@quiltingjetgirl, @latenightquilter, @quilt.theory) and we’ll be sure to recap everything on our blogs when we return.

Teaching Updates

And a quick update on my local teaching schedule. My Triangle Transparency class at Bolts in the Bathtub in Lancaster, California, has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 3rd, and a second Quilting on your Domestic Machine class will be held there in January! If you are interested in attending, call or visit the store in person to reserve your spot. Spaces are limited (max. capacity is 8), so don’t wait too late to sign up!

If you or your guild is interested in scheduling a workshop with me, I currently offer two classes (Triangle Transparency and Quilting on Your Domestic Machine) as well as a Trunk Show lecture. Contact me at jetgirl8(at)gmail(dot)com for pricing and other details.

I would also value your feedback on other classes that you would be interested for me to offer. Thank you!
