I am right in the middle of working on the second of two secret sewing projects, and I was really thrilled to take a quick break yesterday to create a fun mini mini quilt for one of my Patrons. Because of the support I have received this year, I have been able to upgrade my website and begin printing my patterns.
Because I am so appreciative of the support, I offer rewards based on the amount of money pledged at different milestones. For instance, after the first month of support, I send a free PDF quilt pattern (I am already thinking about the pattern I will offer for next year!).
I am shipping off this fun 4.5-inch wide by 6.5-inch tall pineapple mini mini quilt today! The pineapple is pieced using 1″ squares and HSTs (which finish at 0.5″). I quilted around the edge of the pineapple and then added swirls in the negative space around it to allow the pineapple to puff and be a bit more 3D.
I am loving getting to use my quilt labels on my finishes. 🙂 I have a few mini quilts to create as rewards as well, and I hope to be able to share progress on those quilts soon, too.
Linking up with Finish it Friday.
