Welcome to Tips and Tutorials Tuesday! I am thrilled to be working with my friend Stephanie @Late Night Quilter to co-host this linky party. We are going to start off slow and build momentum. The link party dates through the end of the year will be:
- Tuesday, October 4th – Link Party Open 4 weeks
- Tuesday, November 1st – Link Party Open 2 weeks
- Tuesday, November 15th – Link Party Open 3 weeks
- Tuesday, December 6th – Link Party Open 4 weeks
And starting in 2017 we will ramp up to hosting every week! Today I want to highlight some great organizational information. I will also be posting several tips and tutorials posts this month myself to link up to the party, so I hope you come back to this post throughout the month to find more great sewing / quilting related information!
How do you organize your quilting? Leanne @Devoted Quilter reached out to bloggers and collected 14 Tips for Organizing Your Quilting. I look forward to applying some of the suggestions into my own routine.
To help me remember the Tips and Tutorials Tuesday link up schedule, I have noted the link up dates in a planner. I use my Quilter’s Planner to help organize and prioritize what I am sewing / quilting and scheduling my blogging content. Have you pre-ordered your 2017 Quilter’s Planner yet?
I also keep my husband’s beautiful weekly photo calendar on hand to plan my household needs for the week (noting when to change my air filter, for example). I love getting to see a new photograph for each week of the year. We are excited that 2017 will mark our tenth year of publishing the weekly photo calendar, and if you are interested in more information, be sure to look for the 2017 Weekly Photo Calendar.
Thank you for running the link-up, Yvonne! I’m looking forward to learning new tricks ;))
Happy to see the Tips & Tutorials starting up again! Thank you Yvonne and Stephanie!
So glad you’re hosting this linky again, Yvonne! I’m looking forward to learning some new things!
Wow this is great. I sure can you tips. Hopefully, before I get into too many bad habits. Like collecting fabric, wait is that really a bad habit.
so wonderful to see Tips & Tutorials Tuesday! Thanks for starting this up again.
This is a great linky party – thanks for keeping it going!
Thanks for turning us onto your husband’s photography. Just checked out his site. I’ll be ordering his calendar for next year!
Serendipity! I’ve been looking for a weekly 2017 calendar! I just ordered your husband’s because it looks perfect. Yay! 🙂
My tip would be ‘don’t start more than you can finish’ but I cannot share that one officially as it is wrong to not practise what you preach. 🙂
