Cirrus Solids Giveaway Bundle

Week Roundup

First, I want to congratulate Katrin, the winner of the delicious fall inspired fat quarter bundle of Cirrus Solids curated by Cloud9 Fabrics. I had such a great time with the 2016 Cloud9 New Block Blog Hop this week! The participants were so creative and wrote amazing tutorials, and I loved the excitement and enthusiasm with with they were received. Cheryl, Stephanie, and I can’t wait to turn all the beautiful blocks into quilts for donation / charity. Thank you all!

A little over a week ago, my good friend Bernie @Needle and Foot announced a Handmade Halloween Link Party that I wanted to make sure everyone knows about! Rumor has it she is going to have some wonderful giveaways for those who participate in the linkup (which opens on Tuesday, October 4th). How fun is it going to be to inspire everyone with Halloween projects at the beginning of the month while there is still time to get them sewn in time for the holiday this year!?! I can’t wait to see what everyone links up, and I really love this idea, Bernie!

Have you seen that the Blogger’s Quilt Festival kicks off on Monday?!? I love the inspiration and beautiful quilts that are display during the event. I know which 2 quilts I will be entering next week, do you have your posts planned? Thanks so much to Amy @Amy’s Creative Side for all the hard work putting this event together.

Teaching!

Teaching!

And to round things out, I am super excited to be teaching my first quilting class tomorrow at Bolts in the Bathtub in Lancaster, California. I will be teaching Quilting on Your Domestic Machine, and I am super thrilled to pass on my excitement about quilting. The class is sold out, so I will be working with the store owners to schedule another class soon. And on October 1st, I will be teaching my Triangle Transparency class there as well. 🙂

I hope you all had a great week and a lovely weekend!

  1. Clod 9 blocks, will you assemble them yourself, or have some help? Amazing blocks fab tutorials, and I still have a whole heap saved for a rainy day.It rained today, but they are still waiting. Congrats to Katrin, she will be so happy with the fabrics. You will be busy with quilting classes, great news. Greetings from a wet NZ.
